Ry's first T-Ball game!

Tonight was Ryleigh's first T-ball game! She was so excited to go and even made me put her uniform on her right in the middle of the park when we got there. She is still young for the sport but seemed to grasp a bit of what was going on. She had a great hit and made it all the way around the bases!! Way to go Ryleigh!!!
P.S. She was also VERY excited to be rewarded with a purple popsicle from one of the moms (as you can see on her face).

Our new house!

We are MOVING!!! Just 4 doors to the right, but moving nonetheless!! We have made all the arrangements for the new house and now need to get on selling this one! Hopefully it does not take long - our closing date is September 20th!
We love the layout of the new place, and also the fact that we will have Nana and Papa living right below us in a basement apartment!
We're looking forward to being settled in our new home.

Reid's girls

I tried to get this done with just the girls but they were so short the camera couldn't see them. At the last second I had to scoop them both up on to my knee and try and get them posed. As you can see - no such luck. Raegan was steamed because she thought it was a ride and once she found out it wasn't she was trying to get out of there. Ryleigh was watching the tv screen instead of the camera and me....well, I am just trying not to laugh at it all! I really think it is cute though!

Nothing to say -

Just loved these 2 pictures!

Warm weather = Popsicles

I think these pictures say it all - they really enjoyed their ice cold treats!

OUCH!!!

We decided that for the first time we would buy some fireworks and set them off at home. So we had some neighbourhood friends over to join in the fun! Ryleigh and another girl were so excited about the sparklers, spinning around and waving them everywhere, that Reid had them stand far away from each other to avoid an accident.... Well as spinning usually does, it caused a collision and sadly it was Ryleigh's face with a sparkler. There were minor tears and we were not even sure how bad it was until the next morning. I guess its really not THAT bad but it is her first wound! Lucky for us it didn't dampen her spirits and she has still been able to talk our ear off all day!

Happy Mothers Day Everyone!

We celebrated our Mothers Day on Saturday because Daddy had to go to work Sunday morning. Mom got to sleep in, had breakfast in bed, and then spent a quiet morning at home with Raegan while Dad and Ryleigh went shopping. In the afternoon we went to the beach for some Dairy Queen, and both girls were in bed by 7 p.m. Mom and Dad got to have a wonderful steak and shrimp dinner all by themselves! It was a perfect day! Ryleigh and Raegan gave mom a beautiful hanging plant, and a balloon, while Daddy bought Mommy an amazing massaging computer chair to help with her recent injury. It is so comfortable and actually allows Mom to spend a bit of time on the computer, which she was missing so much.

Lazy afternoon...

It was nice to arrive home from Pembroke with enough time to enjoy the beautiful weather. Daddy and Mommy got to relax while Ryleigh and Raegan did some yard work. Ryleigh tended to the garden while Raegan worked on getting the lawn mower ready for summer.

Great Granny and Grandpa's Anniversary

This weekend we headed up to Pembroke for the 60th Wedding Anniversary of Granny and Grandpa Francis. It was a nice opportunity to get to see family that we don't often see. The girls had a chance to play with their cousin as well as Daddy's cousins children. I think I only used my camera for a very short time - didn't get the greatest pictures and didn't even get a pic of the special couple. Maybe by their 65th anniversary I will be more organized...
