Daddy spent quite a bit of time over the past 2 Sundays building the girls a swingset. He finished just in time for Ryleigh to ask for the 100th time "can I go on it yet"? The girls got to spend a few hours on it before dinner and they loved every minute of it. I'm sure it will offer us endless entertainment over the summer.

The ice bucket
While at Nana and Papa's for Papa's 60th birthday, the girls found the real excitement to be the ice in the drink bucket. They ate it, played with it, handed it out, and pretty much anything you could think of (and not think of) to do with ice. Makes us wonder why we spend so much money on toys....now we know what to ask Santa for this year!

Happy Easter Everyone!
Well the bunny found us again this year! Unfortunately, no one told him that it was winter here in Elmvale again and he came bearing gifts of bikes, and baseball equipment, and lawnmowers! Guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks (hopefully less) for all this snow to melt!
Lucky for us, our girls were very happy to hunt for eggs and check out the treats inside! It was an early morning here in the Tabbert household and the girls gave us the wonderful gift of a morning nap for the whole family! Gotta love'em!

Our BIG girl!
On Monday the girls and I walked up to the school to pick up the kindergarten registration package. Ryleigh was sooooo excited and even asked me if I was staying with her or just going to drop her off. We received the bag shown above, which was filled with playdoh, crayons, a notepad, magnets, and some paperwork for Mommy! Ry thinks that it is her "school bag" that she has to take with her each day. It was quite exciting for both of us - her happy, and me, not so much :(
Raegan and Boots!
Raegan LOVES Dora, Boots, Swiper, and the whole gang! She is constantly yelling out doo doo Dora, backpack, and map. We have the DVD players in the van now and the minute we get in she says Dora, Dora, Dora! Funny, because Ryleigh seems to be moving on from Dora but it now seems as though we may be stuck with her for years to come :(
