Raegan has successfully manage to manoeuvre a spoon enough to eat her yogurt by herself. At first she would dip one end of the spoon into the yogurt and then put the other end in her mouth but she quickly realised that it was not giving her the results she was looking for so she started to watch for where the yogurt was. Every day she seems to learn something new. I think she is as proud of herself as we are!

Visit with Papa
Papa got an afternoon pass from the hospital on Saturday, so he got to go home and enjoy the company of his family for a while. He had the chance to watch the grandkids play without using "library rules" which they need to use at the hospital. Ryleigh thought it was pretty cool that Papa came out the back of a taxi! We were so happy to have him home!

Pooh Bear and Cardigan
Two often unmentioned members of our family also happen to be the best friends of Ryleigh and Raegan. Ryleigh received Pooh Bear as a baptism gift at the age of 6 months and has probably slept a total of 5 nights without him since then. Raegan also received her best friend as a baptism gift, but at the age of 4 months. Cardigan is her absolute favorite toy, and I don't think she has spent one night without him since June. You know when the girls get tired because they look for these friends. Ryleigh likes to hold pooh bear in a cuddle while she sleeps and Raegan prefers to clutch Cardigan in one hand while sucking her thumb. ADORABLE!

Another 1st birthday....

Jessica (the girls cousin) celebrated her 1st birthday this past weekend. The girls enjoyed seeing their cousins, Auntie Jackie and Uncle Nick, and Nana, as well as the Sattler family. Jessie was not too sure about the whole cake thing but soon got into it. Auntie Jackie was brave enough to choose chocolate cake! Ryleigh was quiet as a mouse while enjoying her cake and Raegan chose not to have any (that must be the Reid in her shining through!). Happy 1st birthday Jess!!
